Grilled Sweet & Sour Pork

  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 red pepper, cut into large diagonal pieces
  • 3 tbsp lime juice
  • 450 g savoy cabbage, shredded
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp chinese 5 spice
  • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
  • 2 tbsp tomato puree
  • 450 g pork tenderloin, trimmed

1. Pre-heat the grill to a high-heat. Meanwhile, mix together the chinese five spice, crushed chillies, tomatoe puree, honey, soy sauce and lime juice. 2. Place the prok tenderloin and peppers onto a foiled grill rack. Cook for 10 mintes, turning half-way through. 3. Brush the sauce over the pork and grill on a medium-heat for a further 10 minutes. 4. Meanwhile, stir fry the cabbage in a little oil for 5 minutes. Toss in the cooked peppers from the grill and spoon the cabbage mixture onto plates. Slice the pork and serve over the vegetables.
