Griddled Burger with Chili Lime Ketchup
Ingredients
- For Burgers:
- Lean Minced Beef
- 3 Cloves Garlic, chopped
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Chili and Lime
- 1 tbsp Smoked Paprika
- 2 tsp Dijon Mustard
- 10 Burger Buns
- 5 tbsp Mayonnaise
- Iceberg Lettuce
- Sliced Tomatoes
- Sliced Red Onion
- Large Gherkin Slices
- Chili Lime Ketchup:
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 3 cloves Garlic, chopped
- 1.5 tbsp Chili and Lime
- 2 tsp Chili Powder
- Zest of one Lime
- 150g Tomato Ketchup
- Dash of Tabasco
Method
To Prepare Chili Lime Ketchup: 1.Heat oil and gently fry garlic and spices for 1 minute. 2. Add lime zest, stir and remove from heat. 3. Add ketchup and tabasco and leave to cool. To Prepare Burgers: 1. Mix the mince, garlic, oil, salt, spices and mustard. 2. Form 10 burgers and cook on a heated griddle for approximately 4 minutes each side. 3. Dress the burgers on buns with mayonnaise, chili lime ketchup and salad.
